Because the booking window is extremely narrow, this service typically requires dedicated coordination from an experienced team to confirm space, prepare documentation, and hand off cargo on short notice.

A freight forwarder is an intermediary that arranges cargo shipments on behalf of shippers, acting as a liaison between businesses and air carriers. In the context of air freight forwarding, they handle cargo booking, documentation, customs brokerage, and coordination between multiple parties across the logistics process. Rather than operating aircraft themselves, freight forwarders leverage relationships with a global network of airlines and ground handlers to secure space and competitive freight rates.
